Api leads recruitment, vetting and management of every Meimei across the Fiji Meimei Care network. She brings 15+ years of professional caregiving experience — from formal training in 2006 to ongoing work with Australian and Fijian families ever since.
Why Api matters to your family: when you choose a Meimei from our directory, Api is the person who has personally met her, checked her documents, called her references, and decided she met our standards. She's the human standard behind every tier badge on every profile.
Her work spans Fijian resort settings, private family arrangements, and international childcare visits — she has spent extended periods caring for an Australian family in Sydney across nine years, looking after children from infancy through to early school age. That long-term family bond is the kind of care she brings to recruiting other Meimei: she only invites those she'd happily trust with her own.
To uphold the standard we apply to every Meimei: Api is not currently listed for direct public booking. Two of her own documents are being renewed:
Until those land, Api works as our Senior Manager — internally vetting other Meimei, but not listed in the public directory.
This is what tiered transparency actually means: even the senior manager is held to the published standard. No exceptions, including for leadership. Once Api's renewals are complete, she'll be listed as Tier 1 Verified like the other senior Meimei.
Fiji Meimei Care is a small, locally-operated team. As the directory grows, we'll bring on additional support — region-specific coordinators, document verification specialists, and family liaison staff.
